Yoyodyne T17103 Slipper Clutch for KTM 950 / 990 models (2003-)

Yoyodyne's T17103 Slipper Clutch is made specifically for KTM 950 and 990 models (2003-current).

The slipper clutch prevents and/or reduces rear wheel hop when entering a turn. Our slipper clutch features a Ceramic coated pressuer plate for longer wear, the clutch spring pockets are elongated for better feel, and the pressure plate is vented and ducted to help the clutch run cooler.

The function of the slipper clutch is to reduce the pressure on the clutch pack when the engine is in the process of turning the engine. In the case of road racing type slipper clutches, there is no effect on clutch engagement when the engine is in the process of driving the real wheel. During the process of slowing for a turn (Engine Braking) the action of the torque forces the ramps together; the ramps then proceed to ride up on each other, an action which lifts the splined part of the hub off the base.

Our race proven slipper clutch will help you keep the back end of this big twin in line while braking into turns. Fits most KTM 950 and 990 models (LC8) from 2003 on.
