PUIG 21840W Touring Windshield for BMW R1300GS (2024-) without Radar

PUIG's 21840W Touring Windshield is made specifically for BMW R1300GS (2024-current) models without ACC / without Radar.

Touring screens, developed by Puig in Barcelona, are designed with the objective to aerodynamically protect the rider without affecting his/her field vision. In addition, these screens fit perfectly with the adventure style and aesthetics of the trail models thanks to their wide range of colors and different sizes. 

These Touring screens are manufactured using the most advanced technologies, using 4mm thick acrylic material, with UV protection and with a 2mm rounded edge. This finish gives it a more elegant touch and offers greater security, fulfilling with the regulations of the German TÜV.

The assembly of this screen follows a process that can be done without having to ask for a mechanic thanks to its simple and intuitive adaptation. The package also includes the aerodynamic studies that have emerged from comparing the Puig screen with the original in a virtual wind tunnel.

Designed specifically for the version without radar (without ACC) of the BMW R 1300 GS, Puig's Touring windshield meets all functional expectations to increase aerodynamic protection and design, integrating perfectly with the latest generation of the successful Bavarian maxi trail.

Larger than the original screen, it stands out for its sporty design with well-defined edges in the deflector area, providing rigidity and a more aggressive aesthetic in line with the shapes of the new BMW. These integrated side deflectors effectively redirect air cleanly to the sides, eliminating the turbulence generated by the original screen, especially in the forearm and helmet areas.

Thanks to its carefully designed shapes developed with virtual wind tunnel technology and its larger dimensions, installing the Touring windshield significantly increases aerodynamic protection, diverting much of the air that would impact the rider, enhancing driving comfort, and reducing fatigue. Making it the ideal accessory for riders who enjoy long rides on the GS1300.

Designed and manufactured at the Puig facilities in Barcelona, it is made of resistant 4mm thick CN acrylic material. Resulting in a light and durable piece, which allows optimal visibility through, and is resistant to UV rays. Its rounded edges provide greater safety for the rider and a better finish, complying with the demanding regulations of the German TUV.

In reference 21795, its overall dimensions are 530mm in width by 620mm in height. In the windshield with reference 21840, its overall dimensions are 526mm in width by 685mm in height. Both are 170mm taller than the original BMW screen.

It is installed easily and quickly without the need for mechanical knowledge.

Puig recommends removing the original accessory from the black deflectors of the screen for cleaner visibility, since with Puig's own touring screen the aerodynamic results in that area are improved.
