Puig 21795W Touring Screen for BMW R1300GS (2024-) with RADAR

Puig's 21795W Touring Screen is made specifically for BMW R1300GS (2024-current) with Radar.

Touring screens, developed by Puig in Barcelona, are designed with the objective to aerodynamically protect the rider without affecting his/her field vision. In addition, these screens fit perfectly with the adventure style and aesthetics of the trail models thanks to their wide range of colors and different sizes. 

These Touring screens are manufactured using the most advanced technologies, using 4mm thick acrylic material, with UV protection and with a 2mm rounded edge. This finish gives it a more elegant touch and offers greater security, fulfilling with the regulations of the German TÜV.

The assembly of this screen follows a process that can be done without having to ask for a mechanic thanks to its simple and intuitive adaptation. The package also includes the aerodynamic studies that have emerged from comparing the Puig screen with the original in a virtual wind tunnel.

Designed specifically for the BMW R 1300 GS, the Puig touring screen meets all functional and design expectations to be perfectly integrated into the latest generation of the successful Bavarian maxitrail.

Larger than the original screen, it stands out for its sporty design with very marked edges in the area of the deflectors that provide rigidity and a more aggressive aesthetic in line with the lines of the new BMW. These side deflectors incorporated into the shape of the screen effectively divert the air cleanly to the sides, eliminating the turbulence that the original screen generates, especially in the forearm area and in the helmet.

Thanks to its studied shapes developed with virtual wind tunnel technology, aerodynamic protection is considerably increased by installing the Touring screen. The aerodynamic study carried out indicates that the rider goes from supporting 2.4kg of pressure to 0.4kg with the Puig Touring screen, which is an 82% improvement. Therefore, riding comfort increases and fatigue is reduced, increasing our safety.

As the new GS offers countless versions where the customer can configure the motorcycle to their liking, it seems important to us to indicate that our screen ref 21795 is compatible with all possible configurations of the R1300GS: with or without adaptive cruise control, ACC, with screen with electric regulation and with screen with manual regulation.

The Puig Touring screen for the BMW R 1300 GS is available in clear, light smoke and dark smoke. It is compatible with all original BMW and Puig accessories: mirrors, handguard extensions, front deflectors.

It is installed easily and quickly without the need for mechanical knowledge.

Puig recommends removing the original accessory from the black deflectors of the screen for cleaner visibility, since with Puig's own touring screen the aerodynamic results in that area are improved.
