Carpe Iter GPS Bracket(TFT Dash) is made specifically for Yamaha Tenere 700 (2019-current).
The Carpe Iter Tenere 700 GPS Bracket is extremely rigid platform for mounting a larger and heavier navigation device, such as the CI Pad. But of course it will work for a cell phone holder just as well.
Stabilizes whole motorbike mask and windscreen.
Posibility of angle adjustment to suite your riding style (sitting / on the foot pegs).
2 positions for height adjustment.
Especially suitable for off-road use.
The Carpe Iter Tenere 700 GPS Bracket is compatible with all Tenere 700 models, which have the new TFT dashboard (starting with T700 World Raid MY22).
For CI Pad (or other large screen device) it is highly recommended to install also this: Windshield Adjuster
The Windshield adjuster will allow you to raise the stock windscreen to protect the device installed on the Carpe Iter T700 GPS Bracket from elements, especially from rain when riding at speed).
For CI Pad (Lightweight holder) it is highly recommended to also use this part: Anti-vibration adapter for Carpe Holders
The Carpe Iter T700 GPS Bracket composes of 2 main parts:
- The bracket, and a kit for mounting the bracket onto the motorbike, which comes in 2 versions - Mask Mount and Frame Mount.
- The Mounting kit type depends on the crash-bars you installed (or are planning to install) on your motorbike.
There are generally 2 types of crash-bars. One type mounts onto the motorbike mask sub-frame (such as the stock Yamaha crash-bars or SW-motech crash-bars). The other type mounts directly onto the bike frame (steering stem), such as Outback Motortek crash-bars. The Carpe Iter T700 GPS Bracket should be installed in the location, which is NOT occupied by your crash-bars.
So, for example, if you have the stock Yamaha crash-bars, go for the Frame Mount kit. If you have Outback Motortek crash-bars, go for the Mask Mount kit.
The kit includes 4 pcs of stainless steel M5x14 screws for installation of the a device such as Carpe Iter Lightweight holder on to the GPS plate.
The GPS plate installation slots are compatible with 30x38mm hole pattern in both landscape and portrait orientation.
The GPS plate has 3 sets of installation slots - choose the slot that best fits the size of the device being installed (the installed device should not significantly obstruct view on the motorbike dashboard and at the same time there should be some clearance from the windscreen to prevent the windscreen rugging against the installed device).
The GPS plate can accept M4 screws (e.g. Garmin devices and their holders usually use M4 screws), but you should use a washer to make sure that the screw head will not slip through the slots.
