Puig 21980W Touring Windshield for BMW F900GS '24-

Puig's 21980W Touring Windshield is made specifically for BMW F900GS (2024-current).

The new Puig touring windscreen meets all functional expectations to enhance aerodynamic protection and design, perfectly integrating with the latest generation of the successful Bavarian maxi Trail. With larger dimensions than the original screen, it stands out for its sporty design with pronounced edges that add rigidity and a more aggressive aesthetic in line with the new BMW style. The lower and side shapes fit the front to increase lateral protection, effectively diverting air cleanly to the sides. This eliminates the turbulence generated by the original screen, especially in the forearm and helmet areas. The flip at the top of the windscreen helps deflect this pressure and eliminate the most annoying turbulence.

Puig provides an aerodynamic study showing an 88% increase in wind protection without affecting the aerodynamic coefficient, as its main function is to protect the rider's torso. Thanks to its design developed with virtual wind tunnel technology and its larger dimensions, the installation of the Touring windscreen significantly improves aerodynamic protection, diverting much of the air that would impact the rider, increasing driving comfort and reducing fatigue.

Available in clear, dark smoke, and light smoke colors, it adapts to the aesthetic tastes of any rider and motorcycle.

Designed and manufactured at Puig's facilities in Barcelona, it is made of high-end CN acrylic material, 4 mm thick with 2 mm rounded edges. The result is a lightweight and durable piece that allows optimal visibility through it and is UV resistant.

Its total dimensions are 345 mm wide by 440 mm high, 70 mm taller than the original BMW screen.

It is installed quickly and easily without the need for mechanical knowledge.

Touring screens, developed by Puig in Barcelona, are designed with the objective to aerodynamically protect the rider without affecting his/her field vision. In addition, these screens fit perfectly with the adventure style and aesthetics of the trail models thanks to their wide range of colors and different sizes. 

These Touring screens are manufactured using the most advanced technologies, using 4mm thick acrylic material, with UV protection and with a 2mm rounded edge. This finish gives it a more elegant touch and offers greater security, fulfilling with the regulations of the German TÜV.

The assembly of this screen follows a process that can be done without having to ask for a mechanic thanks to its simple and intuitive adaptation. The package also includes the aerodynamic studies that have emerged from comparing the Puig screen with the original in a virtual wind tunnel.
