Givi SR685 Topcase Rack for BMW F650GS and G650GS

Givi Topcase Rack is strong, functional, and well-tested Monorack-style toprack for either general luggage or a Givi Monokey topcase (E460, E52, etc). Its light design allows the perfect adjustment of the plate to the motorcycle using unique adjustable fasteners. This Givi Monorack-style Topcase Rack includes fitting kit and all hardware needed for mounting.

It is very friendly in installation and required only simple hand tools. Also, you do not have to worry about welding or cutting of existing frame or body parts for this Topcase Rack installation . Tough black enamel finish with some grey fittings or hardware as applicable. This Monorack-style Topcase Rack may be used alone or with Givi PL188 sideracks.

It does not interfere with access to the motorcycle's original tail storage compartment.

Not compatible with Givi Monolock topcases.

The toprack is NOT compatible with add-on Givi brake light kits because the metal Givi toprack does not have a punchout for wiring a Givi light kit; and BMW and Givi have stated that adding auxiliary brake lights to BMWs with ABS brakes may cause a malfunction of the ABS braking system.

I mounted the Givi SR685 topcase rack on my 2004 F650GS and the panel cover will open, but not with the topcase attached to the SR685. It is a very solid mount. The SR685 will not work with a Monolock topcase; it's only compatible with Monokey topcases. I only have 500 miles on it, but it seems to be mounted like a rock. No vibration or movement!

You'll note that the Givi SR685 topcase rack does not interfere with either the Touratech sidecase racks or the Givi PL188 sidecase racks point, but don't conflict. The toprack and siderack use the same rear mounting holes near the license plate that the topcase rack does.
