Most will recognize the design of this seat as the original Corbin concept from 1982 that we called the Gunfighter, though in this case the trademark seems somehow inappropriate. With that in mind, we are proud to introduce the Indian Brave saddle!
This is one of the most recognized and revolutionary seat models of all time. Often duplicated yet nobody has ever managed to match the perfected lines, clean fit and brilliant tailoring of the Corbin model. Plus it's very comfortable for the rider and provides for short trip passengers.
The Brave saddle combines excellent rider support and a fast look for your Indian. Up front an ergonomically contoured saddle provides a large area of body contact for best weight dispersion. Our fastback tail section is padded and upholstered for passengers, but the tail is pretty short, so it's going to be a short trip. Brave saddle offers a full five inches of vertical rider support with more square inches of contact area!
Simple to install or remove, the Corbin saddle mounts with an included bracket in the front and locks down at the rear to a stock location on your fender.
Features genuine leather seating for a perch that breathes with your body and breaks in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Choose from a variety of leather styles to customize the look of the saddle at no additional charge. Leather makes an excellent cover for a motorcycle seat because it is extremely durable and luxurious to ride on. Just be sure to care for it properly with a quality leather conditioner like our Saddle Cream.

Provides excellent support for riding while the shaping in the nose allows good ground reach at stop signs. We've designed our saddle to place the rider in the sweet spot for the best feeling of balance and control while the neutralized seating area allows taller riders to scoot back for leg room.

FIBERTECH BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don't telegraph through the foam to your body.
COMFORT CELL FOAM: The heart of the Corbin saddle! Our exclusive, purpose built foam material, called Comfort Cell, was created to provide a firm, resilient ride that doesn't break down. ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle's foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material.
GENUINE LEATHER: We use leather in all panels of the seat that contact your body. This provides a luxurious ride that breathes with your body. Leather will also break in along with the foam shape to support the personalized fit. Available in a wide range of textures and styles to suit your taste.
