AXP's AX1620 Adventure Skid Plate, Black-Yellow is made specifically for BMW R1250GS / R1250GSA (2019-current).

The AXP Adventure Skid Plate provides maximum heavy-duty protection within a lightweight HDPE plastic construction to ensure your motorcycle stays extremely protected while also retaining the advantages of a light weight design. The plastic construction allows for impacts to be efficiently absorbed when compared to a traditional alloy construction which may dent or deform. Thanks to the 8mm thick polyethylene plastic construction(2mm more than the MX/SX range), the energy from an impact is effectively dispersed throughout the body of the skid plate while providing impressive protection and light weight.

The R1250GS / R1250GSA BMW adventure AXP skid plate is made of HDPE (high density polytehtylene) plastic 8mm thick.
The use of the material allow to offer a maximum of protection by saving weight (3.2 Kg).
It doesn't undergo deformations and doesn't save impacts.
Contraty to alloy plates, plastic give you a real sensation of silence and does not reproduce the noise like rock can bring on alloy skid plates !
Our model is not fitted directly in the engine to avoid issues and uses alloy brackets at the rear plus 4 points in the front frame.
The tank protection is assured and avoid to buy crash bars as well.
An anti mud guard and a decal kit are supplied.
