AltRider T719-2-1105 Clear Headlight Guard, for Yamaha Tenere 700 (2019-)

The Altrider T719-2-1105 Clear Headlight Guard, allows you to protect your Yamaha Tenere 700 headlight and avoid a costly mishap. Constructed in the United States from 3/16 inch (4.7 mm) thick polycarbonate, scratch and impact resistant, it´s the same material as bullet proof windows. This polycarbonate is formulated with a hardened scratch resistant surface both front and rear. Dual lenses are secured with 1/16 inch (2 mm) laser cut, textured powder coat steel brackets and frame that are extremely resistant to rust or weathering. It mounts to four factory hard points by way of two 1/16 inch (2 mm) laser cut steel mounting brackets, and using custom machined aluminum ball studs and rubber sockets to mount the lens to the frame. The no-tools quick release system allows for easy removal of the face for cleaning. The textured powdercoat steel construction is extremely resistant to rust or weathering. Polycarbonate will react to certain chemicals and requires specific care to clean correctly and keep looking good for the long haul. Cleaning improperly can result in scratches, hazing, surface crazing and cracking.
