AltRider R130-2-1200 Skid Plate specifically designed for use on the BMW R1300GS, it´s the first in the industry’s created with an Energy Absorption System (EAS). The unique EAS dynamically absorbs the kinetic energy generated during impact in order to offer unrivaled protection to the engine. The skid plate is mounted in the four corners with the midspan having three distinct zones of the Energy Absorption System. The primary function of the EAS is to absorb the kinetic energy created during an impact. The stainless-steel plates provide a robust mount while still decoupling the impact from the engine.
