      AltriderĀ“s R130-1-1003 Silver Lower Crash Bar and Black Skid Plate System, are made specifically for the BMW R1300GS (2024-). 

      The Altrider R130-1-1003 combo includes Lower Crash Bar and Skid Plate. The Crash Bars are the only 1.25 inch (31.75 mm) crash bar system on the market. The larger 1.25 inch bars are over twice as strong as 1 inch bars while only adding 10% more weight, it have four secure mounting points on both sides with 3/16 inch (4.76mm) thick flanges. The top rear mount is secured large custom machined M14, grade 8.8 bolt that replaces the engine mounting hardware. AltRider offers the only custom machined through-bolt for increased strength. There are no plastic spacers or bumpers to break upon impact. This creates an incredibly strong connection while maintaining a narrow design that distributes any impact evenly throughout the bars.

      The skid plate is mounted in the four corners with the midspan having three distinct zones of the Energy Absorption System. The primary function of the EAS is to absorb the kinetic energy created during an impact. 

      • 25 inch (31.75 mm) stainless steel tubing crash bars 
      • 5-axis laser cut and hand TIG welded joints

      • Only millimeters away from the lowest point of the bike offering the best ground clearance
      • The dual material rear mount design of the skid plate attaches directly to the subframe providing a more robust structure
      • Skid plate made from 5/32 inch (4.0 mm) hand TIG welded anodized aluminum
      • The skid plate covers and protects the headers and the catalytic converter
      • Oil change does not require removal of skid plate
